The Pains of Being Pure at Heart's "Belong" came out long before Zumic even existed, but today, frontman Kip Berman shared an unreleased video for the song on his Tumblr. It's a grainy clip that finds Berman going full glam rock -- donning lipstick, eyeliner and a reflective jacket -- and performing with the rest of the band on a stage that appears to be set up for some sort of Valentine's Day talent show.
It's a fun, quirky clip that makes The Pains of Being Pure at Heart seem even more like a brainchild of the late John Hughes, from their cutesy name to their retro sound. It's a wonder that Molly Ringwald has yet to make a cameo in one of their videos.
Even though it came out over two years ago, Belong is still available to purchase on The Pains of Being Pure at Heart's official website. Stay tuned to Zumic for any and all of the band's future endeavors.
