Benjamin Booker released his self-titled debut album only a week ago and the 25-year-old musician is already gaining a lot of attention. In the past few months, the blues rocker has performed on Conan, KEXP, and opened for Jack White on his US Tour. The young musician is filled to the brim with soul and packs each performance with raw energy.

During his performance, Booker plays eight songs off his record. The garage rock edge in his music merges effortlessly with the bluesy style of his guitar riffs. You can hear the pain in each word as he cries out over the three piece band. Booker continues to impress with his strong performance on KCRW.
