The new video for AlunaGeorge's "Best Be Believing" takes place in a psych ward vaguely reminiscent of the one in Miloš Forman's film adaptation of One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, with band members Aluna Francis and George Reid playing the parts of Jack Nicholson and Dean R. Brooks, respectively. Whereas the patients in that film's hospital were all men, and presumably institutionalized for their mental ailments, "Prof. Reid's Dance Rehabilitation Center" houses a bunch of women who can't stop dancing.
"Best Be Believing," from AlunaGeorge's Body Music, is a pretty typical AlunaGeorge song, which means it's insanely catchy and features tons of pitch-shifted vocals. The duo's blend of R&B, pop and electronic music is so deft that it lends credence to the "Monogenre" term that's been floating around the web as of late, and produces a sound that straight up refuses to rub you the wrong way.
