"Bitch Better Have My Money" (Remix) - Freeway [SoundCloud Audio Stream]

Hey, Freeway baby we got your money don’t you worry! Freeway still has the hood on smash, and right now he’s jackin’ for beats. He totally invades Rihanna’s “Bitch Better Have My Money” track, and so eloquently states within the song, “No beat is safe, we runnin’ down on everybody’s shit.”

The “Freemix,” as he calls it, gives us that raw mixtape vibe, and Freeway’s lyricism dominates this modern hip hop beat. I really hope they managed to get Jay and RiRi on the phone after this one because this is a masterfully executed remix — he even has some chopped and screwed sounds at the end.

There’s no doubt that Freeway is with the times as he spits out this clever line, “Yall insta-rich on Instagram.” If your number of followers is heavier than your number of dollars, you have been encouraged to get it together with this one. It’s humbling to hear how astonished he is about coming from selling drugs to cooking up songs. He also isn’t too shy to elaborate on the fruits of his labor either. We respect the hustle, Freeway.
