Brooklyn based garage-punk band Parquet Courts has premiered a new single titled "Black and White" on Late Night with Seth Meyers. The song will be featured on Parquet Courts' upcoming album Sunbathing Animal.

"Black and White" is a concise jam, carried by a constant grooving bass and a melody of crunchy bar chords. It delves into an awesome breakdown of distortion halfway through the song, transitioning from the straightforward structure into a noisier, punkier sound. A good part of the distortion is provided live by none other that Fred Armisen, who joins the band for the final verse.

The band has also released the studio version of the song, which you can check out below:

Sunbathing Animal, Parquet Courts' fourth studio release, is set to drop on June 3rd. For now you can check out the video for its title track on right here on Zumic. The album is available for pre-order on Amazon.
