What do you get when you take Royal Blood's crushing song "Out Of The Black," and put it in the hand's of Adult Swim animator Christy Karacas? Possibly the craziest, most violent, off-the-wall music video ever, that's what. Watch above.

In a statement, Karacas said of the video:

The staging of the action was really important to me as I wanted to create a dynamic space filled with fast paced kinetic energy and movement that matched that of the song. I animated much of the action 'straight ahead' and let the music dictate the movements and ideas in a stream of consciousness way as opposed to pre-planning everything from the start. The unrelenting rhythm of the bass and drums of this song had everything to do with the animation that seemed to just flow out of my fingertips.

Christy Karacas is best known as the co-creator and animator of the Adult Swim show Superjail! In the "Out Of The Black" video, he keeps to the same hyper-violent animation style as is featured in his show -- so that means a LOT of psychedelic cartoon gore.

The clip switches between live action and animation, and features a creature in a bunny costume wreaking havoc at a gas station. He's later joined by a giant ice cream cone, a snowman, a pumpkin, and a heart. It appears no one can stop the deadly team of costumed killers... that is, until the nunchuck-wielding gas station employee decides to take a stand against their evil.

Royal Blood released "Out Of The Black" as a single over a year ago, but it was worth the wait to be treated to this music video.
