Sky Ferreira has just released the official music video for "I Blame Myself," off her 2013 debut album, Night Time, My Time. Check it out below:

Ferreira goes gangster here, playing the drug kingpin in a seedy part of Los Angeles. She confirms in a behind the scenes video that the "I Blame Myself" video definitely alludes to her arrest for drug possession last year with DIIV frontman Zachary Cole Smith. "It's obviously based off of real events... people always ask me questions about certain things, and it's kind of my response... I think actions speak louder than words." The dark and serious vibe of the video is abruptly cut short in the middle, when she and her posse do a quick dance routine. Really makes you wonder why all gangsters don't break out into dance more often.

Sky Ferreira just wrapped her opening act gig on Miley Cyrus' Bangerz tour. Check out more music and news from Sky Ferreira on her Zumic artist page.
