In 2016, they were welcomed back with open arms. Now, Blink-182 have added a new batch of North American tour dates to their 2017 schedule in addition to their previously scheduled European tour.
With opening bands The Naked and Famous and Wavves, the trio of Mark Hoppus, Travis Barker, and Matt Skiba will be stopping by cities they've never visited before and even hitting up the Houston Rodeo along the way.
They'll also be celebrating the soon-to-be-released deluxe edition of their comeback album California, which has been nominated for Best Rock Album at the 2017 Grammy Awards on the strength of tracks like "Bored to Death" and "She's Out of her Mind." Speaking with Billboard about the deluxe edition, Mark Hoppus shared:
Some of the songs were songs that we did not put on the first album, but are great songs. And some are brand new that we just wrote last week, a lot of high-energy songs, punk rock, some more ballad-y songs, a little more electronic experimentation, it’s a good mix. It’s not a collection of throwaway songs, it’s like a whole other album.
