Portland, Oregon based metal band Red Fang made their network television debut last night on Late Night with David Letterman, playing "Blood Like Cream" from their 2013 album Whales and Leeches. Watch the video above, via YouTube.

The uptempo rocker has the band joined by keyboardist extraordinaire Paul Shaffer, although the guitars and drums are blaring so loudly that it's hard to hear the keys except for during a couple parts of the song. Drummer John Sherman is outstanding here, although that doesn't stop Letterman from cracking a joke about how he needs to grow a beard to fit in with the rest of the band.
