Vancouver hardcore outfit Baptists have recently shared a new music video for the title track off their 2014 album, Bloodmines. Watch it above.

Director Brian Sepanzyk delivers a beautiful and disturbing video to accompany this harsh and punishing song. It follows the journey of a man who lives in the woods, and the clear darkness that surrounds him. We won't give away too much, but will say the story goes in a direction the viewer will never see coming. The wild beauty of the Canadian wilderness adds to the unsettling nature of the video.

Bloodmines was produced by Converge guitarist Kurt Ballou, whose producer credits include albums from Trap Them, Kvelertak, and Black Breath, among a slew of others. The album mostly keeps with the same style and character of their previous effort, Bushcraft, delivering a 25-minute onslaught of metallic hardcore. While there's not a lot of variation between these two records, Baptists still keep things interesting, a feat not easily achieved in the genre. Bloodmines is a solid addition to the band's discography and will keep fans more than satisfied.
