Last night, British singer-songwriter Charli XCX performed her hit "Boom Clap" on the Late Show with Seth Meyers, which can be viewed in the above video.
It was a strong performance with strong vocals and quite a simple and stripped down arrangement from the band. XCX has a very similar sound to Gwen Stefani, frontwoman of rock band No Doubt, and channels the pop-rock persona very well. Dressed in a white silk nightie and blue kimono, XCX exuded a combination of sweet and sexy, all the while maintaining her confidence performing on the world stage.
The song "Boom Clap" was the first single released off the movie soundtrack for The Fault in Our Stars, and can be listened to right here on Zumic.
XCX fans can expect her third studio album to be released sometime in September this year, but in the meantime, tune into Charli XCX's Zumic artist page for all the latest in music, news and tour dates.
