Philadelphia punk band Pissed Jeans released the music video for "Boring Girls" today. It's the first video from the remastered version of their 2005 album, Shallow. Watch it above.
The video, directed by Joe Stakun, is presented in a sitcom style, with fake production credits and audience tracks in the beginning. It follows a guy as he has a dream about going on a date with the girl in a photograph on his dresser. The sequence starts off in a silly manner, with a different girl tap dancing on top of a trunk. Then the date starts, and as soon as it goes bad, the dream turns into a nightmare. Suddenly, the protagonist is pulled into a dark void with flashing lights and screaming, insane looking women. It's a ridiculous, crazy clip that takes a creative idea and brings it to a whole new level of weirdness.
Shallow is out now on Sub Pop Records, and is available for purchase on Amazon.
