UK rockers Wolf Alice have shared a song titled "Bros," which you can listen to below, as well as an NME Song Stories feature where frontwoman Ellie Rowsell talks about writing, performing, and recording the song.
On the band's Facebook page, they talked about what the song means to them:
"Bros" is a sentimental tune to us, it's grown and changed with us over the past couple of years, taking on different shapes and forms until it evolved into being this definitive album version. It's an ode to childhood imagination and friendship and all the charm that comes with that.
Beginning with acoustic guitar, the song shifts into a jangly pop rock anthem. Singer Ellie Rowsell's atmospheric vocals float above quick-paced drums and a mesh of sound effects. "Bros" reflective lyrics really work well with the song's dreamy vibe, and the production work is top quality.
Previously, the band shared "Giant Peach," another track from the upcoming album. You can watch that music video here on Zumic.
My Love Is Cool will be released on June 23rd, and is available for pre-order on Amazon (MP3).
