Chicago is having a big moment in the rap scene right now with the success of rappers like Chance the Rapper, Chief Keef and, hopefully, now 29-year old rapper Tree. If the city could produce a rapper like Ye, who knows what we'll get next. For now, we'll take the soulful Tree.
The video for the up-and-comers' song "Busters" is a homage to the legendary city, featuring clips of different parts of Chicago in the snow, while Tree talks about, in his signature raspy voice, how he "he did it for his city." While still mostly unknown, he probably wont be for long. Watch below.
