Up-and-coming British indie rock duo Nai Harvest recently released a split EP with fellow Brits Playlounge entitled Flower. Today, they premiered the music video for their single, "Buttercups," and you can check it out above.

The video, directed by Ed Crisp, opens with flowers spinning around in a washing machine, which foreshadows where a big chunk of the clip takes place. During all the verses, vocalist Ben Thompson contently sits in a laundromat, as camera effects blur and wash around him. The rest of the video features the band enjoying themselves in a variety of natural situations, including an empty country road, a forest, and rather aptly, a field of buttercups.

The band talked to Crack Magazine about the video and the reasoning behind the focus on washing machines:

Washing machines are cool dude! At the time Ed Crisp; who shot the video, had the idea of putting flowers in a washing machine then we decided to hit the laundrette to keep a little theme going. But, now you mention it thinking a little deeper I guess it’s a hint towards our album. That may sound weird but you’ll get it when it’s out.

Flower is out now and available for purchase at the Dog Knights Productions store.
