Primus have shared an official music video for "Candyman" that is sure to leave you fiending for candy! The video comes in tandem with the band's newly remixed 5.1 Surround Sound album, Primus & The Chocolate Factory With The Fungi Ensemble, in which they put their twisted spin on the classic music from the 1971 film Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory.

Directed by Ivan Landau, the claymation video takes us into a wonderful world full of sweet candy, yummy chocolate, and imaginative monsters that push the boundaries of creativity and have us thinking the candyman might also be cooking up some psychedelic substances, as well. Primus frontman / bassist Les Claypool makes a fun appearance as a claymation character, reminding us of the California Raisins' "Heard It Through The Grapevine" TV commercials from the '80s.

Pick up Primus & The Chocolate Factory With The Fungi Ensemble on the Club Bastardo website. You can also stream it on Spotify and read our review here on Zumic.

It was just announced that Primus will be joining Tool for 8 concerts (so far) in 2016 after a New Year's Eve concert in Oakland. For more information about that, as well as the latest music and news from Primus, check out their Zumic artist page.
