The Chef is back with another rendition of an old hit for his Throwback Thursday series. Today, Raekwon released the song "Cant Believe" for his 19th installment. He only trails back 13 years as he raps over the intro to R&B singer Faith Evans' 2001 hit "Can't Believe" featuring fellow Bad Boy artist Carl Thomas.

The backing track of the original song is built around a sample of The Firm's 1997 "Phone Tap." The beat features a dark guitar riff with a slow drum pattern, perfectly coinciding with Raekwon's eerie voice. While his flow sounds as if it was built for this beat, the subject matter of his verse does not match the original song. Faith and Carl both pour their heartbroken souls into the song, while Raekwon's opening verse could easily fit into a hardcore Wu-Tang song.
