"Central Time" - Pokey LaFarge [Rolling Stone Official Video]

Published June 5, 2013

Pokey LaFarge's music sounds like he was ripped out of the 1920s, but there's definitely nothing wrong with that. Blending folk, blues, swing jazz, and kind of honky-tonk vibe, LaFarge and his band, The South City Three, bring the American roots music back like it never left. "Central Time" is the first video from his newly released album, Pokey LaFarge, and in a world full of New York and L.A. pride, LaFarge is there pulling for the Midwest.

You can get Pokey LaFarge on iTunes or from his record label, Third Man Records, which was founded by Jack White.
