Chance The Rapper has rescheduled most of his 2019 tour dates, which had been planned in conjunction with his album The Big Day.

In an Instagram post, Chance explained that he needed time to be with his family. 2019 has been a busy year for the rapper, as his wife, Kirsten, had their second child in September and he released an album in July celebrating their marriage. He explains, "I need to be as helpful and available as possible to my wife in these early months of raising Kensli and Marli. I apologize because I know how many people were counting on seeing me soon, but I hope you’ll understand and forgive me in time."

The American tour is scheduled to run from January to February, with over 30 arena concerts and a few festival appearances. The opening acts include Lil Yachty and Taylor Bennett. Not every date has been rescheduled, so stay tuned, and we will update this page as more details emerge.

Chance unexpectedly released The Big Day on July 26. The album features 22 tracks with many guest appearances, including Nicki Minaj, John Legend, Shawn Mendes, and more. It is believed the record is inspired from his wedding day to Kirsten Corley in March. While it is being called Chance's first album release, the rapper has released three mixtapes going back to 2012. His previous mixtape, 2016's Coloring Book, became the first streaming-only record to win a Grammy award for Best Rap Album.
