Montreal-based rockers Elephant Stone have dropped the third single "Child Of Nature (Om Namah Shivaya)," from their upcoming LP, The Three Poisons.

The track comes in after last month's release of "Knock You From Yr Mountain." The psychedelic rockers' brand new track is a Hindu-inspired cut reminiscent of The Beatles' "Tomorrow Never Knows." Like The Beatles' tune, frontman Rishi Dhir took lyrical inspiration from the Tibetan Book of the Dead.

Plucked sitars ring out a melody that swirls side-by-side with a fuzzed out guitar riffing across the entire composition. Dhir's voice is washed in heavily-layered effects, yet the lyrics are never hidden in the mix. Quite the opposite, they are summoned to the forefront whenever they're present.

The phrase "Om Namah Shivaya" is utilized as a refrain, a mantra that appears at the tail-end of all four verses. The song fades into silence as the sitar rings out on top of the rest of the band.

Their new album, The Three Poisons, will be out August 25th on Hidden Pony Records. You can pre-order it on iTunes and Amazon, as well as head to their online store for various digital and physical packages.
