Childish Gambino sat down with HOT 97's Peter Rosenberg yesterday for an extended interview, but he also offered up a sick, reference-laden freestyle for the NYC radio station.

Childish Gambino Full Interview with Rosenberg on HOT 97 9.8.2014
Bino's freestyle gets a bit of a rocky start, kicking off with the simple hook, "I been grindin' my whole life, nigga," but once he gets into his flow, it's completely relentless. Within a few short minutes, he calls out Spin magazine, fans who won't admit they like him, name-drops Chance The Rapper, and talks about his upbringing in Atlanta. He even manages to squeeze in a Godfather reference.
During the extended interview portion, Gambino and Rosenberg touch on a great deal of subjects, including their stances on changing the Redskins' name, to neutrality during the Civil Rights Movement, to Bino's upcoming mixtape. He even reveals some projects we didn't know about, including a forthcoming book. Watch both the videos above.
