Liam Gallagher has shared a lyric video for "Chinatown," the second single from his upcoming album, As You Were. Watch it above, courtesy of Liam's YouTube.
The video shows the singer walking through the streets of London. We see shots of Big Ben, London Bridge, a graffiti tribute to Manchester, and a section of Chinatown.
Driven by a steady beat and acoustic guitar, the song features Liam's passionate vocals. It is vastly different from the LP's first single, "Wall Of Glass," which is more of a radio friendly rock song with overdriven guitar and harmonica.
The "Chinatown" lyrics call out The Beatles' White Album classic "Happiness Is A Warm Gun" while mentioning the anxiety many Brits must be feeling in this age of terrorism and political strife. Sometimes, Liam says, you just gotta go down to Chinatown and have a good time.
As You Were is scheduled to be released on October 6, 2017. Pick it up on Amazon.
Recently, Liam announced North American concert dates for November, 2017.
