Sacramento hardcore punks Trash Talk just announced a new album, aptly titled No Peace, and shared a track from it. Unfortunately, "Cloudkicker" is in no way related to Ben Sharp's instrumental metal project, but it is glorious enough to make us forget that. Stream it above.

Wild-eyed frontman Lee Spielman greets us by saying that he's "always wanted to go out with a bang," which may explain why No Peace's artwork looks like a silhouette of him falling in midair. Bassist Spencer Pollard provides thrillingly brutal backing vocals throughout "Cloudkicker," adding to the song's full-bodied sound. At 2:59 in length, the song is long by Trash Talk standards, but they cram in enough energy that they don't even need one of their frequently-used breakdowns to provide any changes of pace.

No Peace will be released on May 27th on Trash Talk pals Odd Future's record label, and will (oddly enough) feature contributions from The Alchemist, Ratking's Wiki and King Krule. Preorder the album now from iTunes and you'll receive "Cloudkicker" as a free download. Check out more of Trash Talk's music right here on Zumic.
