Nashville's Lady Antebellum has a deluxe edition of their album Golden on the way, and in preparation for its November 12th release date, they've shared new single "Compass."
Mining the sweet spot between Taylor Swift's radio-friendly country and The Lumineers' radio-friendly folk, "Compass" seems primed for widespread popularity. Confirming the band's intentions for the new single, Singer Hillary Scott recently told Rolling Stone that "Compass" will "be a sing-a-long in the live show, not a sit-and-think about every single lyric."
With a chorus of "Let your heart, sweet heart be your compass when you’re lost, and you should follow it wherever it may go," Scott pretty much spells it out for you: she thinks you should follow your heart.
Though Golden's deluxe edition is still over a month away, you can buy "Compass" right now on Gumroad.com. Of course, you should only do so if your heart tells you to.
