Who would have thought that in the age of Facebook and Twitter, the forerunner of it all would be needing (read: trying) a complete overhaul (again). In a series of newly released ads and videos, Myspace has shown that they are trying to re-brand more towards a site based in music and celebrity.
This one features Mac Miller, and is part 1 of a 3 part "Connections" series. In the video, Miller is seen wandering barefoot through the dirty New York streets, while he freestyles A capella. This type of spoken word/spitting poetry really gives Miller a new depth that many fans have probably been waiting to see. At one point, he even gets into an elevator while humming the National Anthem. It's weird, kitschy, and totally captivating. Exactly what his fans want and expect.
