Australian musician Courtney Barnett is changing things up on her next American tour, going solo acoustic.

The newly announced concerts are scheduled to run from January to February, following previously set dates with Brandi Carlile in Nashville and Wilco's Sky Blue Sky music festival in Mexico. Rounding out 2019, she will be at Lollapalooza Berlin and then a homeland tour of Australia in December.

The opening act for the 2020 solo acoustic tour will be Milk Records labelmate Hachiku, aka singer-songwriter Anika Ostendorf. These are booked at smaller-than-usual venues for Barnett, which should make for especially memorable performances.
