Things kick off on a funny note, as Jimmy Fallon puts on his Neil Young costume and sings Iggy Azalea & Charli XCX's hit song "Fancy" with a conviction that almost makes you forget what the original sounds like. Then, CSN enter to provide their signature harmonic vocals as Stephen Stills also joins on guitar. The Roots join in on the outro to "Suite: Judy Blue Eyes" which is a funny and upbeat way for the group to end the tune.

Later in the show, the folk-rock trio played one of their most classic tunes, "Teach Your Children." In a web exclusive, Crosby, Stills & Nash performed "So Begins The Task" from the 1972 album, Manassas, by the band of the same name that featured Stephen Stills alongside members of CSNY's band, the Flying Burrito Brothers, The Byrds, and others. Stephen Stills and Graham Nash don't have the sweet angelic voices they had in younger years, but they can still certainly perform at a high level and that soothing, soulful country rock sound is still there.

The group is promoting their archival live release CSNY 1974, which was just released this week and is now available on Amazon. They are also currently on tour; check out the tour dates on their official website.
