After the success of their EP Patterns in April, Dale Earnhardt Jr. Jr. has announced a new, full length album The Speed of Things, which will be out on October 8th via Warner Bros.
The new, 13-track album will contain some songs we have already seen, including EP tracks "If You Didn't See Me (Then You Weren't On The Dancefloor)," "Hiding," and "Dark Water."
Dale Earnhardt Jr. Jr. talked about the new album in a press release today:
“It’s a record that means a great deal to us, as it focuses on the size and speed of the world today. Everything is moving faster and faster as we are all much more connected by the global central nervous system that is the internet. Often it feels like when one realizes what they wish to do, it’s impossible to know where to begin due to the scale of everything. We’re a generation of false starts.”
In addition to releasing the new album, the group will be going on tour from August to November with Atlas Genius. The tour will kick off on August 17th in Michigan, and end in Seattle on November 11th. You can check out the album track list and the full list of tour dates below.

The Speed of Things will be Dale Earnhardt Jr. Jr.'s second full length album after their debut It's a Corporate World in 2011.
