Last month, we announced that King Buzzo was going on his first-ever solo acoustic tour and that he was releasing an accompanying 10" record, but now King Buzzo has announced that he'll be releasing a new full-lenth solo record entitled This Machine Kills Artists.

The first cut from the record is "Dark Brown Teeth," a short, rockin' track that showcases Buzzo's guitar virtuosity. The spacey, effected vocals add a rock and roll dimension to it that proves the Melvins frontman can still rock out with an acoustic guitar.

Speaking in a press release, Buzz had this to say about the new record:

“I have no interest in sounding like a crappy version of James Taylor or a half-assed version of Woody Guthrie, which is what happens when almost every rock and roller straps on an acoustic guitar. No thanks… This Machine Kills Artists is a different kind of animal.”

This Machine Kills Artists tracklist:

01. "Dark Brown Teeth"
02. "Rough Democracy"
03. "Laid Back Walking"
04. "Drunken Baby"
05. "Vaulting Over A Microphone"
06. "New River"
07. "The Vulgar Joke"
08. "Everything’s Easy For You"
09. "The Ripping Driving"
10. "How I Became Offensive"
11. "Instrument of God"
12. "The Spoiled Brat"
13. "Illegal Mona"
14. "Good and Hostile"
15. "The Blithering Idiot"
16. "Useless King of the Punks"
17. "The Hesitation Twist"

This Machine Kills Artists will be out June 3rd on Ipecac Recordings. Buzz still has a few dates left on the solo tour, which, according to the photos he's been posting on Facebook, could be considered the "King Buzzo Stands In Front Of Stuff Tour." Dates and pictures below:
