Veteran Chicago indie rockers Wilco stepped into the NPR Music office in Washington, D.C. to play an intimate and unusual Tiny Desk Concert. The band performed "Dawned On Me," "Whole Love," and "Born Alone," all from their latest album The Whole Love, and ended the set with "War On War" from their 2002 album Yankee Hotel Foxtrot.
To make the concert happen, the band squeezed between desks and sacrificed a full drum set in favor of percussion instruments fashioned from office supplies. Despite the space constraints, Wilco came through with yet another great live performance, delivering their trademark brand of introspective, country-tinged indie rock with freshness and ease.
