The Decemberists are set to release What A Terrible World, What A Beautiful World on January 20. They have already released the first single, “Make You Better," and now they are previewing the music video, which stars Nick Offerman. Watch the two clips above.

The video is in the style of a '70s German talk show, which is called The Old Blue Rock Palace Show. Nick Offerman stars as the show's humorously named host, Franz Lieberwurstshlesser. This clip demonstrates Offerman's tremendous ability of portraying someone intense and serious, yet hilarious. The first video features Franz mispronouncing Decemberists lead vocalist Colin Meloy's name multiple times, and the second video shows the host intensely defending yellow mustard.

The band even created a fake website, entirely in German of course, for the show, which you can check out here. What A Terrible World, What A Beautiful World will be out on Capitol Records and is currently available for pre-order on Amazon (Vinyl, CD, MP3) and iTunes.
