Robin Thicke has unleashed a new stand-alone single, "Deep," featuring two verses from Queensbridge's Nasir Jones.
Featuring soft melodies from Robin Thicke amid a grooving beat, "Deep" explores the juxtaposition between social justice and interpersonal relationships. Thicke brings soulful flavor to the song, while the legendary Nas takes it to the next level.
Nas' anger goes full throttle in the first verse as he addresses the police brutality against the black community and how the double standards of society are crossing over into the media without action, which is complimented by a second verse that puts a positive spin on gender equality.
"Deep" is now available on all major streaming services. Listen above for free on SoundCloud.
