For Jerome LOL's "Deleted" video, he asked fans to send in their own videos to be included in the final product. The result is above.

Perhaps a comment on our increasingly minute attention spans, the "Deleted" video ended up including a myriad of amateur videos, each appearing for its "fifteen minutes of fame" (actually more like fifteen seconds) before being dragged into the trash bin at the video's end. It's jarring, weird, and a little depressing.

As a song, "Deleted" splits the difference between Disclosure and indie pop, with LOL's frequent collaborator Sara Z laying down vocals that aren't the stuff of everyday house music. She's less smooth than she is sassy, making the line, "hope you got what you needed" all the more biting. Along with "Always," a song from the same EP, she's making her case as a great guest vocalist.

"Deleted" is on Jerome LOL's Deleted/Fool EP, which came out today. Buy it from Friends of Friends' official Bandcamp page.
