Luis Fonsi has his biggest Billboard hit with "Despacito," which features fellow Puerto-Rican and rapper Daddy Yankee.
The reggaeton crossover mega-hit is the first primarily spanish song to reach the top of the Billboard charts since "Macarena" in 1996. The music video, which shows both artists in the La Perla neighborhood of Old San Juan, Puerto Rico, was the second-fastest video to reach one billion views on Youtube, trailing only Adele's "Hello."
A remix featuring Justin Bieber was also released a few months after the original, and helped the song reach English speaking audiences and improve its chart performance.
