The Men have just released the music video for Tomorrow's Hits track "Different Days," but they've added a unique twist: Rather than film something themselves, they opened it up to the fans to see what they could come up with. The result is beautiful.
German fan Helge Mundt directed the clip, which follows the lonely adventure of a photographer's day out. He skateboards, takes pictures of people, and falls out of a tree, but he won't be kept down. His solitary adventures remain optimistic and he comes back strong. Watch the video above.
When the time came to think about a putting out a second music video from The Men's Tomorrow's Hits, we at Sacred Bones Records decided to go about things in a slightly unusual way. Rather than bringing an established music video director on board, we opened it up to The Men's fans to bring their visions for a "Different Days" video to life, with a treasure trove of rare prizes and bragging rights at stake. The result was an inspiring array of music videos from all over the world, each taking the source material in a unique direction. One entry stood head and shoulders above the rest, though, and we are pleased to present the German director Helge Mundt's take as the official music video for The Men's "Different Days."
