Last night in Hollywood, at the IMS Engage conference, a fight broke out between two EDM managers.

Diplo, DJ and Major Lazer's producer, gave a speech at the IMS Engage conference where he accused DJ BL3ND of buying some of his social media followers. DJ BL3ND has over 100,000 Twitter followers and three million Facebook fans. During the speech Diplo provided "proof" of DJ BL3ND's lack of worldwide popularity saying he "only played shows in the OC".

According to Billboard, during the Q&A session after the conference, Steven Haddad, the founder of Hashtag Management and DJ BL3ND's manager, addressed Diplo and defended BL3ND. Kevin Kusatsu, Diplo's manager, told Haddad to "shut up". Reportedly, Kusatsu and Haddad spoke face to face later that night and a fight between the two broke out.

Billboard reports, "It was unclear who threw the first punch, but Satien Mehta of Haddad's Hashtag Management, who was standing next to Haddad, was hit during the altercation. The two men had to be forcibly separated and continued to go at each other after IMS officials intervened."

Diplo tweeted last night "Lol @ dj bl3nd and his mgmt come at me bro".

He also later addressed the issue saying, "tbh I have nothing against bl3nd. I admire that he created a strong local scene and was able to make an b Identity . My Points at ima ww re not about him particularly they were about social media not meaning shit . Mad love to bl3nd for doing his thing".
