Ed Sheeran covered Christina Aguilera's "Dirrty," complete with Redman rap in the Live Lounge. Watch above.
The abundantly talented Sheeran took an acoustic approach to one of Aguilera's raunchier singles. Sheeran creates a groove by using his guitar as a percussive instrument, slapping the strings and then letting out powerful strummed chords. He takes some of the edge off of the original without making it sound compromised. His transition into Redman's verse is seamless, and manages to avoid coming off as silly or forced. An all around solid performance.
