Here's the most recent gem from the Chicago-based garage rock outfit, The Orwells. "Dirty Sheets" retains some of the frantic raunchiness of their September EP, Who Needs You, and also displays elements of musical intricacy that's absent in most of The Orwells' previous material. Guitarists Dominic Corso and Matt O'Keefe exchange intertwining riffs in the style of Keith Richards and Ron Wood of The Rolling Stones. Vocalist Mario Cuomo continues to lay down his heavy, raspy vocals, making for a beautiful piece of polished chaos.
If you're a new fan of The Orwells and would like to hear their grimier roots, check them out on iTunes to purchase some of their older work.
