Three of the great rock singer-songwriter musicians of the 1970s came together in 2012 for a special concert at New York City's Lincoln Center under the name of The Dukes Of September Rhythm Revue. Individually, these men are Donald Fagen of Steely Dan, Michael McDonald of The Doobie Brothers, and Boz Scaggs. Between the three of them, they represent a musical background that stretches deep into traditions of blues, jazz, and gospel, while also showing an ability to craft songs with inventive melodies and grooves.
