Ed Sheeran has been performing acoutic covers of some of the biggest hit records for quite a while. Backstage at The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, his dives into the hip hop / trap world by covering Fetty Wap's infectious banger "Trap Queen."

Is it me or does this song sound better with an alternative rock sound? We'll let you be the judge. With the Roots backing him, Sheeran delivered Fetty Wap's melodic, singable, drug-filled lyrics quite well. Check out his rendition above.

Check out Sheeran's interview with Jimmy Fallon, as well as his televised performance of "Photograph" and covers of songs from Iron Maiden, Limp Bizkit, and Ty Dolla $ign right here on Zumic.
