Indie rock singer-songwriter Courtney Barnett has shared an adventurous music video for "Elevator Operator," a track from her 2015 album, Sometimes I Sit and Think, And Sometimes I Just Sit. Watch it above, courtesy of Milk! Records' YouTube.
Directed by Sunny Leunig, we see Courtney working as an elevator operator as she gives rides to an eclectic mix of people, including nuns, a magician, and a woman brushing her teeth. The cast of familiar characters features Wilco's Jeff Tweedy and the ladies of Sleater-Kinney. (Check the Credits above for the complete list.) SPOILER ALERT: Stay tuned to the end, where she meets up with her band for a dramatic rooftop rock session.
Sometimes I Sit and Think, and Sometimes I Just Sit is available on Amazon (Vinyl, CD, MP3). You can also stream the full album for free and read our review here on Zumic.
