Elton John Announced As Final Headliner For British Summer Time Festival

Barclaycard Presents British Summer Time in Hyde Park, London, announced the headliners for the final Friday night of the festival. Elton John, Ray Davies of The Kinks, and Elvis Costello will be headlining the night of July 12, along with a day full of other British songwriters, including Lucy Rose, Justin Currie, Tift Merrit, To Kill a King, and Thea Gilmore.

The British Summer Time festival will take place over two weekends. The first will begin Friday, July 5, when Bon Jovi will headline with Kaiser Chiefs and Bush. Saturday, July 6 will be headlined by The Rolling Stones, with The Vaccines and Temper Trap supporting. Then the next Friday, July 12 will be the Elton John show, followed by The Rolling Stones returning for the second Saturday on July 13, this time supported by Jake Bugg and Tom Odell.

Both Rolling Stones nights are sold out for general admission, but special hospitality packages are still available. Tickets for the first night with Bon Jovi are available here. Tickets for the night with Elton John will go on sale Friday, May 23 here, so get ready to get yours.
