The man known as Slowhand has added 2020 tour dates for Europe.
Clapton hinted at the possibility of retiring from the road when he reached the age of 70 in a 2013 interview with Rolling Stone, and revealed in 2016 that he was suffering from peripheral neuropathy. Since then, he limited his number of shows significantly. Now 74-year-old, the guitar legend has been more active in 2019, adding arena dates to his schedule and resuming his Crossroads Guitar Festival, as he looks toward continuing the momentum for at least another year.
The newly announced concerts are scheduled to run from May to June, with 15 performances scheduled at this time. For the tour, Clapton's bandmates are Doyle Bramhall II, Paul Carrack, Nathan East, Chris Stainton, Sharon White, and Katie Kissoon.
