As it turns out, Erykah Badu is a big fan of hip-hop feuds. On Saturday, the R&B singer encouraged the ongoing beef between Drake and Kendrick Lamar, tweeting:

The tweet was in response to a 15 second clip that hit the web last Thursday, in which Kendrick dissed Drake in a cypher set to air in its entirety during the BET Hip Hop Awards next Tuesday. In the clip, Kendrick raps "And nothing’s been the same since they dropped 'Control' / And tucked a sensitive rapper back in his pajama clothes / Ha-ha, jokes on you," referencing Drake's new album Nothing Was the Same, as well as his supposedly soft response to being called out by name in Kendrick's now-infamous "Control" verse.

Thus far, Drake hasn't responded to Kendrick's latest jab. Badu seems to think that, because "This HipHop," a retaliatory blow is warranted, if not expected. She's no Drake hater, though, as she tweeted this earlier today:

It would seem as if Badu just wants to witness a good old-fashioned beef between two rappers at the top of their respective games.
