On Thundercat's 2013 album Apocalypse, the relatively short songs "Evangelion" and "We'll Die" appear back to back, so it's fitting that they've been combined into one new music video. Watch the new clip above, courtesy of Myspace.
In the video, the studio version of "Evangelion" plays as Thundercat (real name Stephen Bruner) walks through a ruinous landscape with a katana over his shoulder, ending up on the shore of a body of water. He then trades the Japanese sword for his six string bass and plays a live version of "We'll Die" at the water's edge. It's a beautiful video, where we get to see interesting landscapes as well as Bruner's virtuosic bass playing.
