Sharon Van Etten has just shared the forlorn "Every Time The Sun Comes Up," the closing track to her upcoming fourth studio album, Are We There.

The song is wistful and honest, with Sharon's rich vocals laid over a bed of reverb-laden guitars. The pulsing kick drum and ringing snare drive the song slowly forward, the melody lilts through the verses, and the chorus fills up with a lush, bittersweet vocal harmony. Listen to the track above and see the lyrics below.

Sharon Van Etten "Every Time The Sun Comes Up" Lyrics:

Pace mine for for you
Hold my horses, patience
Hey man, tricks can't wait to hear my emotions

Every time the sun comes up, I'm in trouble
Every time the sun comes up, I'm in trouble

People say I'm a one-hit wonder
But what happens when I have two?
I washed your dishes, but I shit in your bathroom

Even when the sun comes up, I'm in trouble
Even when the sun comes up, I'm in trouble

We broke your glasses, but covered our asses
Take time silently, feel real room hi-fi

Every time the sun comes up, I'm in trouble
Every time the sun comes up, I'm in trouble

Imagine when
Every time the sun comes up, I see double
