Brooklyn-based folk group The Lone Bellow will release their second full length record, Then Came The Morning, January 27th. Listen to "Fake Roses," the second single from the album, above.

"Fake Roses" sets a solemn tone from the very beginning. The vocals are melancholy and it creates a desolate mood to match the heartbreaking lyrics. Instrumentally, pedal steel guitar and strings wail, and the atmospherics create a dreary, late night aesthetic. The end includes a strong and heartfelt harmony of the words "Your heart is breaking / I hear what you're saying / You don't have to tell me anything."

Then Came The Morning will be out January 27th on Descendent Records. "Fake Roses" will be available on iTunes tomorrow, 11/4, and will be an instant download when the album is available for pre-order.
