LA-based band Bleached are back with another feel-good track, and it shows how well they've perfected their brand of post-punk pop music fueled by sunshine and girl power. Just in time for summer, they proclaim, "These days we're doin' it for the feel."

Although the track was meant to be included in last year's Ride Your Heart, they decided to hold off and iron this one out a little more.

The band explains in a press release:

“For The Feel” is a song we originally wrote for our full length but it didn’t sound right once recorded so we held off on putting it on the record. Finally when it came down to recording it again we were really inspired by the sound of The Kinks, we even used The Kinks amp. I’m really glad we waited to release this song because now it’s perfect.

The song will be featured on an EP of the same name, available digitally on July 22nd. The 7-inch will be out August 16th via Dead Oceans. Pre-order it on iTunes or SC Distribution. For more news and tour dates, check out their Zumic artist page.
