Singer-songwriter Pegi Young and her backing band, The Survivors, have shared a second song from their recently released album, Lonely In A Crowded Room. Listen to "Feel Just Like A Memory" above via YouTube.
A firm bass sound combined with grooving guitar riffs from Kelvin Holly make this a steady rock tune. Pegi's lyrics are honest and her vocals are strengthened by her backup singers. Pianist Spooner Oldham contributes well-played organ notes that hide just beneath the surface. Simmering, country-fried solos in the middle and outro add spice to the song.
Last month, Pegi also released "I Be Weary" from the new album, which you can listen to here on Zumic.
