Chicago group Twin Peaks have shared a throwback music video for their new tune, "Ferry Song." Watch and listen above on the band's YouTube channel.
"Ferry Song" sets a relaxed vibe with layers of jangly folk-rock guitar, then unfolds with steady drums, colorful piano, groovy horns, and uplifting vocal harmonies around Colin Croom's lead. The video takes us back in time, with archival footage of New Orleans in 1965. We see advertisements, fashion trends, classic automobiles, the Saint Louis Cathedral, and of course, ferries.
The song will appear on the band's upcoming album Lookout Low, scheduled for release on September 13.
